Plugin provides creating master detail relations between classic reports such as:

  • Simple master-detail.
  • More complex master-detail-detail reports etc.
  • One master  several details
  • Combination of mentioned above,  including Interactive reports and charts.

Updated: bug fixed, master report key value could not be extracted from report column containing input element. To correct installed plugin simply reload javascript file from src catalog of distribution.

Good program Master-detail dynamic action!

Noted one trouble of your plug-in. When there is on the very first line a master report - the plug-in doesn't work.
How to treat it?

Plugin works in Apex 5 as in Apex 4 with some tunings due to using 42 theme (please take a look at my demo).
1.The best way to mark current row is to set "Mark master report current row by" option to "Style selector name" and to define corresponding style, for example:

/* master-detail current row selection */
td.nonapx-masterdetail-curr-row {
background-color:#FAFAD2 !important;
}
.t-Report--rowHighlight .t-Report-report tr:hover td.nonapx-masterdetail-curr-row, .t-Report--rowHighlight .t-Report-report tr:nth-child(2n+1):hover td.nonapx-masterdetail-curr-row {
background-color:#FFFACD !important;
}

2. If you don't want show master key value, use hidden field and set "Report columns/items used as master key values"
option to INPUT:fXX, where fXX is name of hidden input.

Worked great!!

I did a little differently with the document(somehow it didn't work for me when I used the exact setting in the document, not sure whether this is the document bug or something else on my side, I am on Apex 5),

Here is my setting:

? Mark master report current row by: background color
? Current row style or background color: #5a92d9 !important

Thanks
